Ezrena Marwan is a graphic designer specialising in print and web work. Ezrena recently initiated the Malaysia Design Archive (www.malaysiadesignarchive.org ) project in 2008, which documents, archives and reads the role of graphic design in Malaysia’s complex history during the periods of colonialism, emergency and independence, to better surface the undercurrents of contemporary social, political and cultural contests and negotiations in the country.

This year’s theme is “We Have A Secret” and we wanted to bring together people and ideas who seem ordinary until you know the secret. We have assemble an interesting line up of people including a computer hacker, a chef for celebrity, a TED fellow, a wizard of the mind, a biologist and many more to share their own little secret. TEDx is an independently organized TED event.
